Teresa Bray provides real numbers to support your business.
Teresa knows that numbers are crucial to financial success so, in addition to their precisions, she makes sure her clients understand what the numbers mean in real-world terms. Teresa began her career working in tax preparation for H & R Block for 10 years and this gave her a broad base of experience in guiding a wide variety of people through the ins and outs of personal and business taxation. She joined Sykes & Company, P.A. in early 1997. In addition to tax preparation, she has experience in quarterly payroll reporting and financial statement preparation.
When Teresa puts together client financial statements or taxes, they can count on the certainty of her number and her ability to deliver them on or before the deadline.
She’s known for being adaptable and working with clients in ways that help them understand what her numbers mean for their business and personal lives.
Teresa enjoys that at Sykes she gets to work with the same clients year after year and see the results that Sykes helps to create with their pharmacies and individual wealth.
She received a B.S. in Accounting from Elizabeth City State University, graduating magna cum laude in 2000. She was licensed by North Carolina State Board of Certified Public Accountants Examiners in 2002. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Outside of work, she is currently the Secretary/Treasurer of North Carolina House Movers Association working with her husband who is the President. They have three successful children of whom they are very proud. When she gets the chance, Teresa is headed to the beach.
