Karol Sanchez, CPA is a dynamic CPA with a decade-long track record of driving operational excellence across accounting, financial reporting, and corporate integration for global organizations.

Based in Connecticut, Karol Sanchez is actively involved in all aspects of the accounting function with a focus on financial reporting, corporate integrations, and process optimization for Independent Pharmacies.

Karol began her career at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where she developed a strong foundation in audit and assurance for both real estate investment firms and emerging growth companies.

In 2020, Karol transitioned into industry leadership at CooperSurgical. There, she served as a Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager where she played a pivotal role in steering monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles, managing cross-functional teams, and driving automation projects that elevate reporting efficiency.

Karol earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in accounting from Western Connecticut State University in 2017. She has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Connecticut since shortly thereafter.

Today, Karol is known for her ability to bring structure and clarity to complex accounting environments. She has a talent for simplifying technical processes, mentoring team members, and managing cross-functional initiatives.

She makes decisions rooted in her public accounting background and sharpened by years of hands-on operational experience. Her leadership style is collaborative, and she’s committed to strengthening internal controls and improving systems to support long-term growth.

She is an active member of 100 Women in Finance and the Association of Latino Professionals for America. She has volunteered with the Stamford Public Education Foundation, the American Red Cross, and the Danbury Hospital. Karol also contributes to the professional community through mentorship and recruiting initiatives.
