Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.
- Answers phone calls- Covers for receptionist
- Schedules meetings and appointments
- Runs errands to the post office, bank, and supply store, etc.
- Performs administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
- Prepares and edits letters, reports, memos, and emails
- Makes travel arrangements such as booking flights, cars, and hotel or restaurant reservations.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies.
- Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail. Supports team by performing tasks related to organization Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Administrative Assistant Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting. CPA license or actively pursuing licensure
- 4-year degree
- Experience with individual, corporate, partnership tax
- Knowledge of the tax code, compliance, and procedures
- Strong accounting, analytical and research skills
- Ability to complete general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close process utilizing QuickBooks
- Lacerte tax software experience a plus

Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- 3 years of administrative assistant experience
- Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
