OLLIN B. SYKES (NC CPA Certificate #8804) received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a concentration in accounting from Mars Hill College in 1972. He received his Certified Public Accountant's certification in August 1975. He also received his Certified Management Accountant Certification under the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of the National Association of Accountants in April 1980.

Ollin began his work experience in 1973 publicly and became president of Sykes & Company, P.A. in 1985. He is intricately involved in all aspects of the business with a concentration in tax, general business/management advisory services, and technology consulting for closely held businesses and their shareholders/partners.

Ollin is a member of the National Association of Accountants, North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has served as president of the Albemarle Outer Banks Chapter of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
