JULIE B. BLANCHARD (NC CPA Certificate #21382) joined Sykes & Company, P.A. in January 1988. In 1998 she was admitted as a shareholder. Julie is a Certified Public Accountant and received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Elizabeth City State University in May 1990, and her Associates in Applied Science in Business Administration Technology from College of the Albemarle in May 1985.

Julie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, where she has served as secretary/treasurer, and is a past vice president of the Albemarle Outer Banks chapter. She is also involved with other community organizations.

Julie has experience working with tax preparation, reviews and compilations, tax planning, and financial statement review for individuals and corporations.
